 Definetly an 'A'

this is a hard record to review because it is so touching but everyone gets hung up on saying its creepy and distant sounding. but yeah, definitely an 'A'

I\'m not as convinced that this album deserves an A. At least half of the tracks are throwaways. The only songs I thought were excellent were \"Marble House\", \"Silent Shout\", and \"Like a Pin\". Everything else was just retread of either their earlier stuff off of Deep Cuts or boringly unoriginal. JMO.

The \"difficulty\" of many of the songs, especially compared to the more digestible highights from the last album, definitely make this an album I sxpect to get good reviews. But while I find it interesting and respect what they\'re tried to do, I don\'t find myself wanting to listen to it all that much.

overwhelmingly beautiful. i\'m glad this album\'s getting the recognition it deserves, although after pitchfork\'s review it\'s probably going to end up another meaningless staple of the hipster\'s diet.

This isn't a good album, three or so wonderful songs ("we share our mother's health" is the best one)… but they're so mediocre at heart. I regret actually buying this.
