Unbelievable, for years the hip hop scene got slated for being sample based and 'not real music' and here come two guys (British by the way) that make that accusation obsolete in one blow to your headphones. These guys have gained the respect of the whole underground music scene. Call it fusion if you will, I call it Herbaliser. As for comparing these guys to the Propellerheads loses you your right to comment! I agree sometimes this does seem a bit of the same compared to 'Something Wicked' but the liberal dosage of hip-hop, soul, funk, jazz and dub (sometimes disco?!!-but it works)makes up for it. Nah'mean Nah'm Sayin' is a masterclass in music. We don't want to see the Herbaliser as a beatmakers for a 'rap star', that was the eighties and that is America. We do it diff'rent over here!
