Why is Stylus starting to waste space on albums like this? We already know you're going to wipe your ass on stuff like this and there are thousands of other albums that richly deserve the space that you've just wasted by posting a review of a pointless album that I doubt anyone reading this would be interested in. Is it that you feel you have to provide an alternative to the simpering platitudes this will get in the broadsheets? Don't even dignify them with a response. In fact, don’t even acknowledge mediocre guff like this with your time and efforts. Iain, I know the more pastoral stuff is your forte, but that’s no excuse and even more support for the argument that you should be steering well clear. Rant over. Thanks.

Wow! I agree with THREE Stylus reviews today. Must be a record.

Stylus reviewed this to warm up for tearing apart the next James Blunt record.

With all due respect, Meatbreak, but Ian F. can review whatever he wants to. For exampkle, i´ve heard that first album, and there was one song I really found great. So I was curious, where he would go with the second one.

Florenz, I hear what you're saying and sure Iain can review what he likes, no problem, but why take up valuable space on the website? I'm sure more than the four reviews posted up are submitted every day, and of far more interesting music then Rice makes. In fact, the best music rice makes is when you put it in a hollowed out bit of bamboo and turn it up and down to make the sound of rain. I'd rather hear an hour of that that an hour of Damien.
