"Another Day On Earth" is a gorgeous album. It makes my heart sing. It is touching in every moment, I could add every cliche of magic without missing the point. Calling this "an ambient album with vocals" makes as much sense as ist makes none. It´s a fine balance between the ambient and the song qualities of Brian Eno, and the album has a dark, romantic intensity far away from any mainstream. For me, it ranks among the masterpieces of 2005, along with "I´m A Bird Now" by Antony and the Johnsons. I hope, such an uninspired and short-minded response will not stop potential listeners to build their own judgements.
