Jesus christ, Utz. Anyways, he had this awesome song that got played on the radio a bit less than "Cowboy" and "Bawitdaba." It was like, "I'M A PIMP! YOU CAN CHECK MAH STATS!" It was awesome. But yeah, "I Am The Bullgod" and "Only God Knows Why" tore it up, as well. Hell, I even dug "American Badass" from The History of Rock. Good songs with lots of cursing. Next article in the bag? UNCLE KRACKER. Seeya then.

I've never hated an album titled quite like I hate "Rock 'n Roll Jesus".

the problem with the whole 'the diamond' concept is that what 10+ million americans buy sometimes means shit to the rest of the world. i, and (i could be wrong on this) most of the rest of the world, could never understand the attraction of this mook. and i dont think i can even remember a line or tune or melody or anything from any of his songs. one of those weird american attractions like...bob seger...and bush. perhaps you coulda told the rest of the world why over 10 million ppl took the album home, then maybe we'd understand!!

The thing that made 'Devil' so weirdly attractive at the time was that, musically, it sounded like Bob Seger being borne out of Jane's Addition's ass. With rapping.
