Of course, the best ever is from The Clash, at the very end of The Right Profile from London Calling, where Joe Strummer sings (and it's printed this way on the lyric sheet): Arrrghhhgorra buh bhuh do arrrrgggghhhhnnnn!!!!

Robert Smith has publicly disowned Love Cats, but like, why? It's just a Disney song without a movie.

The "vocal solo" in The Sex Pistols' "Submission," anyone?

ever notice how most/all the 'poppy' cure songs post-headonthedoor with the pretty guitar melodies sound positively Argentinian? check out a couple regional acoustic guitar based bands, and you'll see what I mean. dude stole some licks.

Someone (perhaps an alternate universe version of myself with more free time) needs to do a list like this encompassing bands with a lot more of the "primal self" thing going on. Steve Albini, Rick Froberg, Elvis Costello, Guy Piccioto... Those guys have to have all yielded a couple of nuggets for this kind of list.

I think Lovecats is loosely (very loosely) based on The Aristocats - so it sort of does have a Disney flick to belong to.

I guess you don't listen to any metal, else this list would be riddled with men trying to sound like wolves, bears, cement mixers and err...Satan. GRRRRRROOOWWWAAAARGGGGHHHH!!!!!

one gets the feeling that the tail's wagging the dog with this list, which is another way of saying that peter parrish wanted to find a list with Lovecats at the top. personally I would have "Top ten songs where you can see up the lead singer's nostrils in the video".
