Wait, what? You spent the whole article talking about how N&T; was boring and tame compared to the s/t, frequently poking fun at it, and then do an about face in one sentence and end with "It's their best album though." Rings a bit hollow after arguing for paragraphs about how bad it is. Me, I love this album and thought it was unfairly maligned in the first place, but what do I know, I'm just a guy that trolls Stylus.

What the Zurich guy said. Still, though, great album. They downplayed the "gimmick" that drew so many into the first album, made a great solid pop/rock album, and people acted like it was this awful thing. Bleh, whatever. All of the songs are great and hell, some of them sound like Jawbox. Stupid, stupid people.

Aww, no love for "Back to the Sea"? That was one of my favorite songs of last year.

I keep coming back to this album too...a lot more than the first one. Every song on it is solid, except Return of the beserker. My favorites: thursday, burnt, and (of course) skip to the end. Oh, and the three or four bonus songs are also really good.

Yeah, "Back To The Sea" is great and sounds exactly like Blink-182. "Face" has revealed itself to be another standout. The shouting at the end is just awesome. The dude is like "HOOOOOWWWWHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Solid jamz.

"Area"... now that's a good song.

It is definitely hard work, but I also found coming back to it very rewarding. Although their are a couple of turkeys on there (Return of the Beserker, Thursday), it is definitely littered with excellent songs that I was happy to hear when seeing them live.
