Great coverage guys. Did I miss your write up of the movies in your top 5 (other than the ones that are here)? I can't seem to find it on the site, or was this your only article about Sundance?

Sky's "Sundance Dispatches" can be found here (1), here (2), here (3), and here (4).

all i'm going to mention is that mr. hirschkron is roommates with my best friend from high school, and that's weird. but cool.

No Pine Flat? Just kidding. Saints was my favorite, too, though I saw far fewer than 34.

i'm gonna take a wild guess and assume axiomatic is the jeff echert who i've heard so much about. amirite? "No Pine Flat?" i did enjoy pine flat and do recommend it, for the record; it just didn't quite make the top five. 10-minute shots of people doing nothing = my bag. was this unclear?

skyhir: I'm glad you saw Pine Flat. I dug it as well. It's exactly the kind of film that confuses people who ask me about film, as if the only types of things I watch are ten-minute static shots of people sitting there. At any rate, I just mentioned it on a lark.
