I'm genuinely surprised Franz didn't win this.

 I have a feeling it's all Macpherson's fault.

"Franz Ferdinand are baaaack. Baaaack. OK." Did they ever really leave?

what's going on in that bullets picture?

FF did bloody well considering how bad they are, let's have no whining on their behalf please! I'm more distressed by the lack of love for Sean Paul.

I like whining though, it's what I do best.

How come the UK version is always about "winning", and the US version is all "oh, in whatever order, you know. As long as it was fun". Shouldn't that be the other way around??

Furthermore, I don't see how someone could deny "Do You Want To". It's just so...good. I mean, look...all the other guys that live in my dorm don't even think it's a great song but they all acknowledge that the little hook (dooo-doo, doo doo doo doo doodoo) is fucking catchy as hell and can't stop humming it. This could be because I play the song insessently in my room and they just happen to hear it as they pass by so it gets stuck in their brains, but there has got to be something to it if EVERYBODY, like FF or not, is humming that damn chorus.

As an aside, I don't know how many of you are in college and how many of those people have this Facebook thing at your school (if you don't have it, let's just say that it's the dumbest thing in the world and the most entertaining and distracting thing in the world at the same time), but I thought it was funny that someone at my school created a Facebook group called "Kanye West Can Eat A Dick." I don't know why, I have no opinion on the guy. I just thought it was a funny title for a Facebook group.

why did you not apply to write for the Jukebox bassman08?

I saw the ads and stuff on here a few weeks ago when they were doing it, but I didn't know I was allowed to...I'm not British.

Geez, Hillary what's with the Dad-hate? I hope that when my daughter grows up in 15 years, I'll be driving around in my truck listening to Modest Mouse, reminiscing on my youth...and she won't be writing for Stylus.

"As irresistible as sunglasses"? Even setting aside for a moment my anti-sunglasses bias, that's still one hell of an awful simile.

vinegar, that's because both columns are written by REBELS who REFUSE TO FOLLOW THE MAINSTREAM. Or maybe Unterberger is just more laid back than Swygart, I can't tell. And oh, Jessica Popper, what do you have against Canada?
