That hook on "I'm So Fly" is insane. My instinct after hearing it is to get to a keyboard and recreate it. The first time around, it's a string instrument of sorts (a banjo? Eastern?) The second time around, chimes. Or something. Whatever, hook of the year. Also, is G-Unit like a miniature Wu-Tang or what?

Whoops, different song. I'm talking about "So Fly" by NB Ridaz. Is my face red or what?

"if you want another 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl?' you gotta give us something to work with lyrically. " What, like "You look so fine that I really wanna make you mine"?

Josh T: Chuck Eddy posted on ILM that not only does he like all three Jet singles, but that the latest reminds him of T. Rex! Fite!

Yeah, Ken. Time-honored, tried and true rock cliches instead of confused, mixed-up and disorienting ones.

So, uh, nobody else has any love for Phil Collins?

Mad love, Mathers. Bottom line, as you said, Phil's original is just untouchable. Also, the choice of artist to cover inadvertently exposes the PS in a way they can't have intended: the listener is reminded that Phil did the whole earnest vocals/jittery beats juxtaposition a good twenty years before the PS ever swapped emails on "Take Me Home." Should've picked "Say You, Say Me" instead: same purpose served, no embarrassing revelations.
