This is one of the best albums of all time. Bowie's detachment was never more graceful and melancholy. If Ziggy Stardust was really buying his own groceries than that explains why this album is so good.

I am a little sad there is no mention of Speed of Life, the opening instrumental track, which is one of the best album openers ever. Review was good, but not nearly as comprehensive as the STS one. Hope on "Heroes" we get into the meat and potatoes of songs like Blackout, Joe the Lion and company.
