Heidi Vs. Riton - Vejer

Heidi, of Phonica Records in London, teams up with the erratic Riton for her debut on Get Physical, a pre-cursor to her new mix CD. The result is quite a housey early morning track, with warm pads and even some cello. It’s quite different to the usual Get Physical sound, less electronic, but nonetheless a playable if not mindblowing record. Jesse Rose supplies the remixes on the flip. With a proper release to come on GPM and remixes for Mobilee also on the way, you feel Rose must have something good up his sleeve, but he doesn’t show it here.

Moritz Piske - Ein Känguruh Im Clubraum / Huldigung Den Triole

This just in: unpronounceable German single to be saved from obscurity by getting a cushy spot on the new Heidi compilation on Get Physical. English speaking public thrilled to realize it’s about a kangaroo being let loose in the club. Said kangaroo has been seen hopping to a wild series of cut up vocals, and claims to be the animal incarnation of a more disciplined and clubbier Robag Wruhme. Beware, flipping over of record will result in agitated computer funk that grows more ugly, inorganic, and insistent in its attempt to teach kangaroo to dance. Film at 11.
